About the role

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join a hospital-based practice in Macon, Georgia. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to practice high-quality diagnostic medicine in a large, tertiary care setting, while enjoying the supportive environment and collaboration PathGroup provides across its physician network. Candidates with strong general surgical pathology and clinical pathology skills are encouraged to apply.

 

Visa Sponsorship:

Key Responsibilities:

  • General surgical pathology and cytopathology sign-out
  • Frozen section and intraoperative consultation
  • Clinical pathology oversight and laboratory quality improvement
  • Participation in tumor boards and interdisciplinary clinical discussions
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
  • Eligible for Georgia medical license
  • Strong diagnostic skills and effective communication
  • Comfort working in a busy, diverse hospital environment
