Providence is calling a Supervisor Maintenance - Plant Operations who will:

  • Supervise maintenance and repair section of Plant Operations department
  • Participate in and directs section activities
  • Facilitates building repairs, works in conjunction with plant supervisor to assist that section with plant repairs
  • Conducts inspections of specific repairs
  • Conducts building inspections, lists deficiencies, provides information to dispatcher
  • Ensures completion of documentation as required by hospital policy

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

  • This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled
  • This role requires for you to be located within a daily commutable distance of our office location listed below:
    • Texas: Lubbock
  • Work Week: Monday - Friday
  • Work Shift: Day
  • Work Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • On Call work is required for this position which will include evenings and weekends 

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 5+ years of experience working in the building trades
  • 2+ years of experience as a Supervisor

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Coursework/Training: On the job training
  • Associate's Degree
  • Plant Operations experience in plumbing, boiler and chiller maintenance
  • General Contractor or superintendent experience
  • Commercial experience in carpentry, floor cover, wall repair and plumbing

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
