Responsibilities:
- Receive GFE; add GFE label; add to SNC database (EQuip); add to Government Property data base (PIEE)
- Responsible for storage and inventory requirement of Government Property
- Assist Programs when Material/Equipment is need for Aircraft or end product
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
- Basic understanding of and experience with the practical application of production/manufacturing principles, techniques and best practices
- Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- Experience with materials management systems
- Knowledge of Government Property (PIEE) Databases
- Experience with Auditing, either performing audits or being audited
Preferred:
- Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
- HazMat Training/Certification
- Ability to operate a Forklift
- Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS
- Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record
- Understanding of Shelf Life
- Experience with materials management systems
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with other departments in a tactful and effective manner
- Demonstrated ability to interpret Federal Acquisition Regulations ( FAR ) supplements and contracts
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
