The Field Reimbursement Manager, Eyecare acts as a non-clinical, in-office resource that is available to educate and address HCP questions about patient access and provide approved reimbursement support. The FRM is a field-based role, working in-person with HCP offices in the assigned geography, with the ability to address questions about patient access & reimbursement in support of AbbVie’s Eye Care portfolio. The FRM provides expertise on coverage and reimbursement barriers to enhance the patient experience. Responsibilities include educating HCPs and supporting staff about access and reimbursement using AbbVie approved support tools, advising HCPs on patient prescription status, program eligibility, and educating offices on payer processes and procedures.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs using AbbVie approved access and reimbursement support tools and services.
- Establish and maintain relationships with providers, strategically prioritizing travel & activity across the entire FRM geography.
- Be a subject matter expert on relevant local, regional, and national payer policies to appropriately educate providers on payer requirements.
- Effectively work in a high cross-matrix environment, implementing appropriate ways of working communication with teams in sales, market access, and patient service peers.
- Identify and report back payer trends of approved products to patient services and market access account
