Job Summary

The Supply Chain Diversity Program Manager will support the development, implementation, management and reporting of all aspects of the Vistra Supply Chain Diversity and Small Business Initiatives. This role will serve as a key resource regarding industry trends and best practices in Supply Chain Diversity and Small Business programming as well as remain knowledgeable concerning the availability, capabilities and development of diverse and small suppliers. This position will have a critical role in community ad public relations through interaction with the diverse supplier community, government and non-governmental organizations that focus on the development and economic empowerment of diverse and small firms.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

·This position is responsible for collecting, tracking and reporting metrics to ensure the program goals are met including:·Manage process of Supply Chain Diversity status identification and maintenance to ensure integrity of Initiatives·Drive the Multi- Tier program and oversee and ensure timely and accurate reporting·Work with the supply chain leads and/or functional stakeholders to pre-qualify suppliers, review performance, resolve issues and provide guidance to enhance supplier capabilities and growth opportunities·Manage Supply Chain Diversity Initiative website including content maintenance and updates·Actively engage in the preparation of internal and external events promoting and recognizing Supply Chain Diversity efforts.·Expand the boundaries of an already effective working relationship with Vistra Energy, Luminant, TXU Energy, Dynegy and Homefield clients and the affiliated support organizations such as legal, finance, tax, audit, etc. ·Provide ongoing support to Supply Chain Diversity Lead as requested·Additional duties as business needs arise

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

•Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Diversity or related field•Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in a multidisciplinary environment •Strong organizational and project management skills •Experience in facilitating/leading work groups, cross functional process teams and focus groups•Independence - Ability to complete tasks and initiatives with minimal amount of supervision•Ability to travel up to 30% of the time •High school diploma or equivalent•Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
