Advance Practice Practitioner (ARNP/PA) Inpatient Palliative Care 1.0FTE

Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Inpatient Palliative Care APP to join our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Palliative Care team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients. Our approachable and dedicated leadership fosters an open, supportive environment for both patients and staff and is deeply committed to leading with a genuine passion for improving lives.
About the position:
- General Schedule M-F, 5 8-hour days
- No Call
- Average 8-12 patients seen per day
- Works with an interdisciplinary team, including other physicians, ARNPs, a social worker, and a chaplain
- Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
- Certification Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse preferred
- One to 3 years’ experience in inpatient palliative care setting preferred
- Experience with complex symptom management including opioid drips, methadone and buprenorphine strongly preferred

TOTAL COMPENSATION $135,000 - $165,000 salary; NOT based on productivity
