The Opportunity

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead Electrical design for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station projects 
• Provide technical guidance and direction to engineering and technician staff 
• Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including installation drawings, calculations, reports, and technical specifications 
• Coordinate with regional and global design teams 
• Coordination with local electrical utilities on project technical needs  

 
Additional Project Opportunities 

• Studies – Feasibility, Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis 
• Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program 
• Professional Engineer’s license in MO, KS, or another US jurisdiction 
• 8+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services 
• EV charging experience preferred 
• Overall familiarity with and experience designing to NFPA-70: National Electrical Code (NEC) 
• Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution design and equipment 
• Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 8 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
