SUMMARY
The General Operations Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting Operations with any administrative tasks necessary. Primary responsibility is checking in and distributing all mail to correct departments including assisting Fulfillment with checking in FedEx.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:
- Understand and demonstrate the principles of The Savings Group’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Manage daily incoming mail ensuring it is received by appropriate parties.
- Assist check-in of FedEx for the Fulfillment department.
- Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of general office experience.
- Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and all levels of management.
- Analytical: Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and work independently. Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Technical: Comfort with Microsoft Office, keyboarding/computer skills, heavy computer, and phone usage.
- Other: High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment.
