Are you a dynamic and experienced finance professional looking to take on a challenging role in a global IT finance environment?
We are seeking a Senior Specialist to join our team and provide crucial support to our IT Finance Center of Excellence (CoE). Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will work closely with the Finance Associated Directors to deliver financial planning and analysis support for our global IT operations. This role participates in the planning and reporting processes that span all of IT, covering a multi-billion $ global budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Close Activities: Lead and support the monthly close activities by ensuring accurate data tie-outs from various systems, facilitating reporting, and coordinating commentary.
Financial Planning Cycles: Play a key role in the three financial planning cycles by providing reporting and analysis for the Long Range Operating Plan (LROP) and Long Range Capital Plan (LRCP). This will involve loading data into BPC and performing tie-outs data in Apptio.
Apptio Application Support: Support various Apptio (application we use to calculate and report Total Cost of Ownership for IT Products) activities, including syncing from Apptio ITP to Apptio TCO, ensuring data completeness during the forecast cycle, alignment with the Apptio team and proactively identifying and addressing data anomalies.
Headcount-Related Financial Analysis: Support headcount-related financial analysis and reporting during forecast cycles and as needed ad hoc.
IT Data Steward Liaison: Function as a liaison with the IT Data Stewards for managing IT Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and maintaining the data in the Product & Services Catalog.
Collaboration and Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with the IT Finance client-facing team to understand their needs and gaps, driving meaningful results through the IT Finance CoE.
Ad Hoc Support: Provide support for ad hoc analyses, processes, and tools in support of change initiatives and other business needs, with a focus on process improvement and leveraging technology to automate and innovate.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative discipline
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of Business or Finance experience
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience with SAP, BPC, Apptio, BW, and financial reporting tools such as PowerBI
Strong computer skills, especially working with Excel and PowerPoint
Strong technical skills and ability to work with large volumes of data
Strong financial acumen and a proactive approach to problem solving
Passion and intellectual curiosity with respect to the IT Business areas
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain diverse client, and peer relationships
Excellent communication skills verbally and written
