BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The incumbent is directly assigned to work as a member of OBP’s Interim Budget Application (IBA) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) budget system development and implementation team. The incumbent shall also, as assigned, work collaboratively with members of the District’s Integrated Financial System (DIFS) Support Center on all matters related to the EPM and ERP financial modules that involve budget transactions, which may include budget development, budget controls and overrides, procurement, accounts payable, accounts receivable, projects and grants, and financial reporting. The incumbent works cross-functionally in an Oracle Cloud and Oracle reporting environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: identifying and documenting business requirements and works with the technical team to assess feasibility of requirements; reviewing enhancement requests;  documenting system and configuration requirements; analyzing the functionality of Oracle and EPM processes and procedures to provide accurate and conclusive reports of the system; and coordinating the development of cross-functional solutions to system-related issues affecting the District’s business budget processes. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Examples of duties

Six (6) years of progressive experience performing related duties and responsibilities, such as supporting and implementing enterprise performance management (EPM) systems; conducting analysis and maintenance of budget modules; providing guidance on budget operations in a large-scale organization; and experience collaborating with technical and business teams to address financial systems issues within Oracle EBS or similar applications. Incumbent must have at least one (1) year of work experience supervising lower-level staff.

Qualifications

Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.
