V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Principal Software Developer to join our team!

Job Description: 

Full stack developer in support of Global Mission Training and Sustainment (GMTS) - Training - MIS. Design, develop, update and sustain software web applications using Angular, .Net C# WebAPI, and Microsoft SQL Server. Build, expand and maintain automated build and testing. Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to maturing and improving software development processes and products.  Adhere to coding standards and best practices and configuration management of all code.

Main activities of this role will include software application development and oversight.   

Required Skills:

• Full Stack Development using Angular, .Net C# WebAPI, and Microsoft SQL Server. Strong in technical design documentation, software development and working in a collaborative environment.

Desired Skills:

• How will the contractor’s success be measured?: Success will be measured through meeting acceptance criteria of work delivered within sprints, supporting team members to complete work, and software development process improvements. Delivery of design documentation and functioning software features.
• Culture:   This will be a team environment where communication and soft skills are highly valued.  Ability effectively explain details and receive feedback will be key to success.
• Desired Skill Sets:   Experience with development of MIS software applications for Army Maintenance, Sustainment and Operations contracts.

Education Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable engineering degree.
