We are looking for a passionate product manager to join us in transforming Equip to a true data-driven organization. Data is the backbone of what we are building at Equip - we use it everyday to support business processes, measure our success, and inform our decisions. As the product manager for our data platforms, you will be collaborating with domain experts to identify opportunities where we can use data to improve treatment of our patients, the experience for our providers, and our business processes. Equip is growing and as we scale to meet more people in need, this person will have an enormous opportunity to influence how we evolve our strategy to enable the organization to get the most out of our data.We need someone who can apply a creative, rigorous, and efficient approach to product management. They will be a critical member of our team, collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and internal stakeholders. They will help develop and drive the roadmap for our data initiatives as well as work towards a strategy for enabling the organization to self-serve data needs as we scale. There is also an opportunity to lead a team to support these efforts in the future. What you’ll do:
- Be a thought partner with our clinical, operations, and commercial teams to identify data initiatives that support department and organization goals
- Develop and manage the execution of the data roadmap in collaboration with a team of data analysts, engineers, and data scientists.
- Lead prioritization of the roadmap and maintain a tight feedback loop with stakeholders
- Demonstrate the value of deliverables through demos, release notes, etc.
- Work towards improving the data literacy in the organization and enabling self-service analytics. This includes building a training curriculum, assisting with user training, and providing ad-hoc support.
- Monitor usage and satisfaction of our data products to identify gaps and opportunitiesLead grooming sessions and serve as the bridge between the business and technical teams - managing expectations, providing clarity, and making trade-offs, all while using the philosophy of incremental improvement and shortest time to value
- Demonstrate empathy and curiosity as an approach to all complex issues (be them technical, societal, or personal) and share a genuine interest to solve problems for our users
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a growing, early stage work environment
- Find ways to improve efficiency and excellence in our product development process
You’ll be great for this role if:
- You have 5+ years of product management experience working at high growth companies, ideally working on data products and/or in healthcare specifically
- You are comfortable working with data visualization tools and analyzing data
- You have a proven track record of owning a product experience end to end that’s demonstrated value
- You love navigating through ambiguity in brand new territory on problems and turning them into solutions
- You break through walls to drive results - you can quickly unblock yourself and are biased toward action
- You can develop an intuitive understanding of what your custo
