Lead Operations Associate - Asset Management
TIAAAbout the role
The primary responsibility of the Lead Operations Associate is to support the account lifecycle management process. Contributes to various strategic initiatives, performs, oversees and coordinates complex activities for investment teams including transactional monitoring, issue & escalation management, risk mitigation and metrics reporting. The Lead Operations Associate is also responsible for the review and timely, accurate processing of overseeing 1000+ benchmark implementations, and orchestrating account setups and resource allocation. Spearheaded automation initiatives that reduced operational costs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for Maintaining integrity of data masters and accounting systems. Create and update entities and their data fields as required by the business.
Acts as a liaison and subject matter expert within the assigned business unit to front office, counter parties, vendors, & internal teams.
Analyze, reconcile, and utilize data across accounting and front office systems.
Combine data using SQL, and Excel for cross-platform analysis and reporting.
Identify and improve process efficiency and automation wherever possible that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the trade operations lifecycle and deliver positive internal and external client impacts.
Demonstrates a risk and control mindset through adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements; ensures process and audit documentation is current at all times.
Contributes to, supports or leads special ad hoc & strategic projects as they arise within functional operations area.

Anticipated Posting End Date:
2025-04-16Base Pay Range: $109,500/yr. - $151,000/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
