Position Summary

Work on a next-generation product that will change how people process their data. Leverage your skills and put them to good use to directly shape the future of the data engineering space & craft a brand new experience for our users. We want AI to become a development partner for anyone from business stakeholders wanting to learn how to code to engineers wishing to become more productive.

Collaborate with the team to build and deploy state-of-the-art AI products and infrastructure. Work with us on the product and technology roadmap. Evaluate the latest ML technologies and develop proposals to evolve them.

The impact you will have

Design/Develop/Deliver:
End-to-End Ownership. Software Engineers at Prophecy own, design, develop, and deliver end-to-end products for our next-generation ML-enabled product.

Overachiever:
In Prophecy, we encourage and give environments to engineers to overachieve their own limits. Set up your own metrics and improve them iteratively. You are expected to autonomously determine the solutions to the challenges while supporting your teammates.

Own the products end to end as a founder/ceo from the requirement to delivery. We don’t believe in hierarchy or the number of years of experience. Requirements

• Experience in building ml-enabled products (preferably using natural language processing). Relevant examples:
  • Developed infrastructure for code generation machine learning products (e.g. trained large language models similar to Codex) or worked on text-to-sql problems
  • Built knowledge graphs using graph databases like Neo4j, Dgraph, Neptune, etc
  • Built end-to-end semantic information extractions systems
• Be end-product and design-conscious - you will be crafting a complete user experience (customer obsession)
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
• Have proficiency in Scala, Java
• Great problem-solving skills
• Comfort in working in short, agile, iterative development cycles
• Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
• Strong desire to work in a not well-structured, fast-moving startup environment
• B Tech or above degree in CS or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OpenAI, GPT-3, Davinci, or done prompt engineering for those models
• Experience working with big-data data processing engines, e.g. Spark
• Ability to assess new technologies and make pragmatic recommendation
