The Lead Repair Aftermarket Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving repair and aftermarket programs to ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business growth. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, developing strategies to optimize repair processes, and ensuring alignment with GE Aerospace's priorities of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead repair and aftermarket program initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and customer support, to deliver on program objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve repair turnaround times and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage customer relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with repair services.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics, Engineering, Project Management or related field from an accredited university from accredited college/university
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Engineering Program/Project Management role

Additional Information

  • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens.  GE will require proof of status.
  • Ability to sit onsite at the Bohemia, NY facility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of repair and aftermarket processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Knowledge of GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating system or similar lean frameworks.
  • Experience with data analytics and performance tracking tools.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build lasting relationships.

The base pay range for this position is $110,200.00 - 146,800.00 . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/
