Head Cheer Coach

Description

 Supervise, teach, lead, mentor SMC Spirit team. Responsible for preparing team to perform at all men's and womens's basketball home games as well as at selected post season tournament games. This position will also assist the marketing and external operations team in the promotion of athletic events through campus and community outreach efforts. This role encompasses coaching, recruitment, program administration, budget management, and collaboration with marketing and fan engagement efforts to enhance school spirit and community involvement. 

Requirements

 Cheerleading Coaching Experience (College, High School, All-Star)

A strong network and connections within the cheer community

Experience in collegiate or professional cheer

Must be able to work flexible hours dependent on team member schedules. Must attend all home men's basketball games and all home women's basketball games when team is participating. Attendance at conference tournament and any other post season events where Cheer Team is participating is required.
