About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Python/Go who is comfortable in a polyglot environment to join the EasyPost team. You will be a key member of our small but growing engineering team making important technical decisions that will shape the company's future. If you love solving tough problems in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, then we’d love to meet you.
What you will do:
o Build new features and products for the EasyPost APIo Optimize and build back-end services for performance and scaleo Integrate our software with carriers around the worldo Participate in code designs, planning meetings, and code reviewso Write high quality software using Go and some Rubyo Analyze/debug performance issueso Take ownership of major API features
About you:
o 6+ years of professional software development experienceo Strong experience with Goo Experience with REST, HTTP/HTTPS protocolso Ownership of integrating 3rd party APIs a pluso Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with multiple releases a dayo A passion for working as part of a team - you love connecting and collaborating with othersWhat We Offer:
