Project Overview
The Climate Support Assessment and Restorative Evaluation Initiative advances NYU Silver's commitment to fostering an inclusive, accountable, and restorative learning and working environment. The project examines the impact of climate support interventions, restorative justice practices, community-building initiatives, and organizational response strategies on student, staff, faculty, and alumni experiences. The Research Project Manager will oversee assessment, evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts that inform CSWE Accreditation (ADEI competency), institutional decision-making and strengthen community well-being, belonging, trust, and accountability.

Direct and manage climate support assessment and restorative justice evaluation projects.

Develop and implement assessment plans to evaluate the effectiveness of climate support interventions, restorative justice circles, healing-centered engagement practices, and community response protocols.

Design, administer, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data collection activities, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and climate assessments.

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements across multiple initiatives.

Hire, train, supervise, and support graduate assistants, research assistants, and project staff.

Oversee the development and maintenance of project databases and data management systems.

Ensure compliance with institutional policies, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable research protocols.

Monitor participation, engagement, and outcomes associated with climate support and restorative justice programming.

Collaborate with faculty, administrators, students, and community stakeholders to support data-informed decision-making.

Prepare regular reports, presentations, executive summaries, and assessment briefs for school leadership and community partners.

Conduct program evaluations and continuous quality improvement activities to assess impact and identify emerging needs.

Support the dissemination of findings through presentations, publications, conference proposals, and institutional communications.

Coordinate data collection and evaluation efforts across departments and stakeholder groups.

Assist with strategic planning initiatives related to campus climate, belonging, community well-being, and restorative practices.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project activities, outcomes, and assessments.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Higher Education Administration, Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, Organizational Development, Educational Leadership, Evaluation, or a related social/behavioral science discipline.

Demonstrated experience managing research, assessment, evaluation, or organizational climate projects.

Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

Experience conducting surveys, focus groups, interviews, and program evaluations.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting competing deadlines.

Experience supervising staff, graduate assistants, interns, or project teams.

Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with survey and database platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, REDCap, Airtable, or similar systems).
