About the role

The Clinical Neuropsychology Faculty member will provide high-quality neuropsychological assessment and consultation for adult patients across diverse neurological, medical, and psychiatric conditions. The role supports key subspecialty programs, contributes to the education of trainees, and participates in collaborative clinical research in alignment with the mission of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a Clinical Neuropsychology Faculty member to join our adult neuropsychology program. The role provides clinical services across general neuropsychology and major programs including Epilepsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Neuro-oncology, and Memory/Neurodegenerative Disorders. The position includes active involvement in education and research, with access to extensive departmental resources such as fMRI, MEG, intraoperative monitoring programs, and clinical research databases.

Position Highlights: 

  • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation for adult patients across acute and chronic disease stages.

  • Support major program areas including Epilepsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Neuro-oncology, and Memory/Neurodegenerative Disorders.

  • Participate in additional programs including multiple sclerosis, stroke, normal pressure hydrocephalus, and deep brain stimulation.

  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary clinical teams across the Neurosciences Institute.

  • Teach and supervise clinical neuropsychology postdoctoral fellows (adult track), neurology residents, and students from regional graduate programs.

  • Engage in clinical research with opportunities for extramural funding and collaboration within fMRI, MEG, and other departmental research initiatives.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate 

Schedule: 

  • Full Time FTE/Monday-Friday

  • Salaried (Exempt)

 

Department/Division Highlights: 

The Division of Neuropsychology within MCW’s Department of Neurology provides a comprehensive range of neuropsychological services and supports active fellowship training. MCW maintains major research infrastructure including fMRI, MEG, and intraoperative monitoring collaborations. Research strengths include Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, stroke/aphasia intervention, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injury.

Qualifications 

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an accredited program.

  • Completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology.

  • License-eligible in the State of Wisconsin.

  • Board certified or board eligible for ABPP/ABCN certification (preferred).

  • Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills.
