Nilfisk’s Data & Business Analytics team is searching for a talented and passionate Global Data Analyst - PowerBI to join our dynamic team at our Budapest office. As a key member of the team, you'll play a vital role in gathering, analyzing, and transforming data into actionable insights that drive smarter business decisions across the globe.

Nilfisk was founded in 1906 by the Danish engineer P.A. Fisker. Today the company is a world-leading provider of professional and consumer floorcare equipment, vacuum cleaners, and high-pressure washers. Around 90 per cent of sales target professionals, while the remaining 10 per cent of the business is focused on consumers.

Nilfisk products and services are sold in more than 100 countries and produced at 9 manufacturing sites across the globe. The main facilities are based in Hungary, Italy, the U.S., Mexico, and China. A total of 4,700 employees secured revenue of 1033.6 mEUR in 2023. The largest single market is the U.S., covering 30% of revenue in 2022, followed by Germany (14%), France (10%), Denmark (6%), and U.K. (4%).

What You'll Do

• Leverage your Power BI expertise to design and develop compelling data visualizations, reports, and KPIs tailored to business needs.
• Source data from various sources, including primary and secondary datasets, to create robust databases for further exploration.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through data cleaning, filtering, and code error identification during the data ingestion process.
• Implement and optimize data collection systems, databases, and analytical strategies to maximize efficiency and data quality.
• Champion and develop best practices for Power BI governance within the company.
• Empower colleagues by providing Power BI training and fostering self-sufficiency in data analysis.

Your technical skills

• Proven experience with Power BI (and other Powerplatorm related tools), including data modeling, report creation, and governance best practices.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools like MS Excel and SAP BI (a plus).
• Working knowledge of data models, database design principles, data mining, or segmentation techniques (preferred).
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst is a strong advantage (basic understanding of SQL, Python, or R is a plus).
• A recent graduate or a professional with a few years of experience in data analytics or a similar field.
