Air Liquide's Business Service Center (BSC) comprises a dedicated unit (including people, processes and
technologies) that is structured as a centralized point of service focused on defined business functions.
Initially the BSC will support the North America (‘NAM’) cluster and will take on support of the Latin
America (‘LATAM’) cluster in a later phase.
Air Liquide's Shared Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who provide services that have
previously been found in more than one part of the organization or group; thus, the funding and resourcing
of the service is shared and the providing department effectively becomes an internal service provider.

The Accounting Junior Analyst reports directly to the Accounting Team Lead /Accounting Supervisor. The
primary function is to play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations
of the organization. The junior analyst will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable
insights and hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting.


Job Responsibilities
Financial Data Entry and Record-Keeping:
● Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software.
● Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
● Receive, review and post journal entries received from the local teams and other BSC towers
● Prepare and post monthly journal entries for AL entities and business units
● Reconcile Bank reconciliations monthly
● Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
● Prepare and Update Desktop Procedures at least twice a year.
● Prepare an Update Capacity file in order to list the activities performed and the time consumed by
each of them

Are you a MATCH?

Education
Students in 3rd or 4th year, majoring in Public Accounting, Business Administration or similar.

Knowledge and Skills
● Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
● Digital mindset for systems automation and connectivity
● Continuous improvement mindset for process improvements
● Understanding of financial analysis and statistics
● Skills in Google Suite


Language Requirements
English: Intermediate - Advanced English
Spanish: Mandatory
