Job Description

Our Enterprise Product organization is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our team. The UX team supports dozens of browser-based applications for internal users, including content supply chain, finance, data and SaaS tools. We do not design mobile or consumer-facing UIs. This is a hands-on role that supports both Product Design and Design System initiatives and does not include user research or discovery.  

 Responsibilities:   

  • Use Figma to create hi-fi designs from provided sketches or wireframes in support of Product Design workflow 
  • Use Figma to produce interactive prototypes for handoff 
  • Work with UX Lead on design system and design operation initiatives to create and update design system libraries, enterprise-grade patterns, page templates, and guidelines 
  • Actively participate in team crit, giving and receiving feedback and providing quality control across all supported products 
  • Provide quality control and compliance checks for design system libraries, documentation, and handoff materials 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience designing and prototyping in Figma  
  • Professional experience working within design systems, especially Material Design, Angular Material, and React Material. Experience with Accessibility and SaaS design systems including Salesforce Lightning, SAP Fiori, and ServiceNow a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field 
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, listening)  
  • A professional portfolio of relevant design & prototyping samples (Must include the link in resume or application) 
  • Please submit one Figma file (as a link or .fig file) that demonstrates expertise with Figma features and file organization skills 
  • Must be able to work Eastern Time 

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
