About The Role
As the Junior IT Coordinator at goop, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s IT operations. Reporting to the Director, IT Services & Operations, you’ll work closely to ensure smooth technical operations across all departments. This role is essential to ensuring the team’s day-to-day work is fully supported by the necessary technology and infrastructure. While this is a part-time position, your contributions will help keep goop’s workflows running efficiently, ultimately supporting the company’s overall goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide hands-on technical support for software and hardware issues within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, and security issues promptly.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, ensuring proper setup of accounts and devices.
- Monitor IT systems for performance issues and address them proactively.
- Support larger IT projects, such as system upgrades and implementations, to improve company-wide efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Basic knowledge of IT systems, networks, and software troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows and macOS operating systems and common software applications.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently in a part-time capacity.
- Strong communication skills to assist team members with varying levels of technical understanding.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems is a plus but not required.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and contributing to the growth of the company.
FAQ
- Compensation: $30-35/hour + Equity. This is a part-time (20 hours/week), non-exempt role. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
