Sr. Salesforce Business Architect

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are actively seeking a Senior Business Architect who is deeply knowledgeable about Salesforce and complementary solutions. You bring structure and clarity to complex programs by leading discovery and facilitation to align business objectives with platform capabilities. You’re adept at documenting current‑state workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and defining pragmatic future‑state options—ultimately translating strategy into a sequenced, actionable roadmap that the organization can deliver against.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

You will partner with business, technical, and delivery teams to shape a well‑defined Phase 1 scope, ensuring a strong foundation for execution. Day to day, you’ll drive stakeholder workshops, connect capabilities to outcomes, evaluate design alternatives, and provide clear recommendations. You’ll translate strategic intent into epics, features, and initiatives, sequencing work to maximize value and de‑risk delivery while maintaining alignment across business and technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 8–10+ years in Business Architecture, enterprise transformation, or process improvement, including leading programs that leverage Salesforce.
• Proven expertise in discovery/facilitation, current‑state documentation, and future‑state design (e.g., capability maps, operating models, value streams).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities (e.g., Experience/Service/Platform) and how they integrate with adjacent solutions (integration, data, analytics, marketing).
• Demonstrated ability to convert strategy into a clear roadmap with sequenced initiatives, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with technical/delivery teams to shape scope, refine estimates, and establish acceptance criteria for Phase 1 launches.
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of aligning executive sponsors, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Familiarity with Agile practices (epics/features/backlog refinement) and change‑management principles to drive adoption.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Business Analyst, Application/Systems Architect) and experience in complex, regulated environments is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to align business objectives with Salesforce capabilities and constraints.
• Document current‑state processes, pain points, and handoffs; identify improvement opportunities and quick wins.
• Define high‑level future‑state design options; assess trade‑offs and provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations.
• Translate strategy into a practical roadmap with sequenced initiatives, milestones, and measurable success criteria.
• Partner with technical and delivery teams to shape and estimate a high‑confidence Phase 1 scope that establishes the foundation for execution.
• Maintain business architecture artifacts (capability maps, operating model, decision logs) and ensure traceability from objectives to delivery.
• Support backlog formation (epics/features) and governance routines to keep work aligned to outcomes and manage risk.
