The Home Decor Associate will welcome and engage customers through the sales process and exceeding their expectations within our new home décor accessories department. Working closely with the Home Decor Accessory Department Lead, the Home Decor Associate will assist in maintaining top-notch merchandising standards to generate sales. Bring your enthusiasm and creativity to help make this new accessory department the ultimate destination for home decor lovers.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Be consistently positive, enthusiastic, and respectful in all interactions with customers and co-workers

• Product Knowledge: Learn the features and benefits of all merchandise within the department and generate sales the “Bob’s Way”

• Training Participation: Attend and constructively participate in all scheduled meetings, workshops, and other training sessions

• Store Maintenance: Contribute to the ongoing effort to maintain the store’s appearance at the highest level by straightening, light cleaning, and identifying damaged or unsightly merchandise for removal

• Merchandising: Ensure merchandise is priced or tagged according to company guidelines, stage the department, and prepare to receive new merchandise

• Other Duties: Assist in performing other duties as assigned
