About Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin:
Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin is a 140-bed acute care facility serving Baldwin County and the Lake Oconee/Greene County region. As the only designated Emergency Cardiac Care Center in the area, we provide comprehensive services including emergency care, radiology, and women’s health.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pre and Post-Operative RN to join our surgical services team. This role focuses on preparing patients for surgery and providing post-operative care, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience throughout the surgical journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient education.
  • Monitor and support patients during recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely.
  • Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Current RN license with the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum 6 months of clinical nursing experience required.
  • Previous experience in perioperative or PACU settings preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must attend hospital mandatory training annually.
  • Must maintain and successfully complete all competencies, including age-specific and department-specific training.
  • Completion of unit-specific training requirements within designated timeframes.
