Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Global Physical Security, to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive corporate security program. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard the organization's physical office locations, executives and employees, and physical security intelligence capabilities with a primary focus on the United States and Europe, while also encompassing the broader international landscape. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and programs that address the unique challenges of a dynamic technology environment. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing crisis management and business continuity plans, and directing the response to physical security incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Program Development & Implementation:
• Design, develop, and implement a global physical security program, including policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Establish and manage security systems and technologies, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
• Develop and manage a global travel security program, including risk assessments, pre-travel briefings, and emergency response protocols.
• Policy & Procedure Development:
• Create and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures for executive protection, employee safety, office security, and global travel.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international regulations.
• Develop and implement crisis management and business continuity plans, lead security incident responses, and ensure effective emergency communication channels.
• Establish and lead a physical security intelligence program, monitor various developments for threats, partner with relevant agencies, and provide security briefings and reports to leadership.
• Executive Protection:
• Develop and manage executive protection programs to ensure the safety and security of senior leadership.
• Conduct threat assessments and implement appropriate security measures.
• Coordinate with external security providers and law enforcement agencies as necessary.
• Employee Security and Safety:
• Develop and implement employee security awareness training programs.
• Establish and manage incident reporting and response procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on security-related matters.
• Office Security and Safety:
• Manage the security of all company offices and facilities, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of physical security systems and processes, addressing vulnerabilities promptly..
• Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Global Travel Security and Safety:
• Create and maintain a comprehensive global travel security policy.
• Provide pre-travel briefings and risk assessments to employees.
• Develop and maintain a network of security providers and resources in key travel destinations.
• Respond to travel security emergencies.
• Vendor Management:
• Manage relationships with security vendors and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Evaluate vendor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the physical security budget.
• Track expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Collaboration:
• Partner with cross-functional teams, such as People, Legal, IT, and Operations to ensure security measures are integrated across the organization.
