The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Administrative Coordinator, UNLV Student Wellness, Disability Resource Center [R0151836]
ROLE of the POSITION
Reporting to the Associate Director of the Disability Resource Center the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for coordinating complex administrative, operational, and service-delivery functions that support equitable access for students with disabilities at UNLV. This role integrates accommodation coordination, student worker logistics, office operations, budgeting, and assistive technology support to ensure continuous, high-quality Disability Resource Center services. The position requires strong organizational judgment, regulatory awareness, and the ability to manage multiple interdependent workflows
This position will collaborate with the Student Wellness Administrative Coordinator to facilitate hiring of student workers and temporary employees. The administrative coordinator will ensure compliance with NSHE and UNLV policies and procedures as well as compliance with FERPA and The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards regarding student and staff focused policies and procedures.
The DRC Administrative Coordinator directly manages the Disability Resource Center’s furniture placement and classroom relocation responsibilities in order to meet the needs of students with varying disabilities.
Lastly, this position assists both the director and associate director with the compilation, organization, editing, and production of the annual reports, annual evaluations, grant reports, research projects, presentations, and other tasks.
The Administrative Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for internal and external constituents on matters pertaining to The Disability Resource Center operations, initiatives, and programs/services.
