Specialty Markets Customer SpecialistPosition Overview
Shaw Industries is looking for a Customer Specialist to manage one or more Specialty Markets accounts for products pertaining to RV, Manufactured Housing, Automobile, Expo, Needlebond, Cross Point, Wingate, Retail Companies, Hard Surfaces, Kits, Truckloads, and Slits. The Customer Specialist is assigned to a particular group of Specialty Markets products and to the customers who purchase those materials. It is necessary to nurture these business relationships, which have high demands and nonstandard requests. The orders for Specialty Markets are monitored from order entry through the delivery of the product.
Responsibilities
Cultivate professional relationships with Specialty Markets accounts and key contacts at the account.
Engage and leverage business partners such as Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Distribution, Scheduling, Hard Surface Help, Pricing, Quality Control, and Sales to strategically make decisions that are in the best interest of the company and customer.
Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and actively pursuing unresolved problems.
Must be able to multitask, if necessary.
Foster a service mentality to reach beyond customer requirements and maintain solutions and practices that are in the best interest of the company
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency during short and long term absences.
Willing to learn and undertake the duties of others, if needed.
Accountable for all aspects of the daily business needs of assigned accounts for multiple product types and categories.
Must always maintain a friendly, professional attitude whether dealing with customer, Sales, or other departments within Shaw.
Will be required to serve as backup for other Specialty Market Customer Specialists.

Requirements
High School Diploma/GED.
Capable of successfully working and training in a virtual environment independently.
Candidates must have experience in troubleshooting computer equipment setup, operation, and navigation.
Maintain a virtual presence throughout each work day.
Experience: Two years experience in a service environment required; Three years preferred.
Experience: Proficiency in Shaw Online Live Order Entry and Order Modification
Knowledge of Google Docs/Google Spreadsheets
Must communicate well to various audiences verbally and electronically
Must have a strong work ethic and sound work habits: attendance, promptness, and ability to work well with others is required.
Work Shift
