What Health System Pharm - Clinical contributes to Cardinal Health
Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.
Health System Pharm - Clinical is responsible for providing customized pharmacy program solutions that reduce costs and improve patient care quality for hospitals, health systems and other integrated healthcare providers; may also consult with and advise healthcare team on prescribed medications, supplies and related processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and training on the Outcomes Platform for stores enrolled in Cardinal Health’s Reimbursement Consulting Services (RCS) in Outcomes.
- Train and coach current RCS customers on the Outcomes with RCS platform.
- Communicate tips and strategies when using Outcomes with RCS to current customer base.
- Document, maintain and track current calls and future calls on provided spreadsheet.
- Provide training on weekly team calls with current RCS Advisors.
- Create and maintain Outcomes training material for the RCS Advisor Team
- Maintain quality customer service by following RCS Advisor policies regarding contacting pharmacies.
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Exhibits an ability to translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business. Accountable for gaining and driving cross functional support from all stakeholders
- Identifies and remains current on market trends. Determines product/service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.
- Understands methods available to execute primary research (VOC) that are necessary to drive portfolio/ product decisions. Can identify market opportunities through VOC/secondary research and act by implementing and managing solutions that meet customer needs.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building a business & marketing plan
- this includes identifying the appropriate channels to market. Has the ability to understand market trends and competitive positioning.
- Demonstrates strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment. Understands and can demonstrate sound thought processes as it relates to Clinical revenue opportunities.
- Works effectively across cross functional groups including but not limited to IT, communications, operations, and sales.

Pay rate: $55.00 per hour
