What you'll do...

Walmart’s Corporate Real Estate organization is seeking a data, data science, and analytics thought leader for the role of Director for our CRE Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence-driven Data Science Program. This role is ideal for a visionary leader enthusiastic about shaping a data-focused organization and evolving our data strategy, architecture, and data product development, with growing focus on leveraging more analytical techniques that utilize AI capabilities.

What you’ll Do:

• Design and execute a transformative real estate data program strategy that aligns with and supports CRE objectives and informed decision-making.
• Manage and enhance the data governance framework, ensuring compliance with data standards, policies, and procedures.
• Direct the definition, gathering, analysis, and management of real estate data, maintaining data quality and accessibility for stakeholders.
• Define a set of products including datasets, insights, reports, and dashboards for delivery and use by CRE leaders and business stakeholders.
• Define and manage system integrations for efficient data collection and aggregation.
• Develop advanced data analytics tools and AI-powered models to support strategic decisions related to property transactions and capital investments.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with corporate standards.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to align the data program with corporate initiatives.
• Design and deliver training programs to deepen team members' understanding of the real estate data program.
• Enhance the development of comprehensive Corporate Real Estate tech, platform and data strategies for operational efficiency and enhanced user experience.
• Regularly assess the data program's effectiveness, making improvements as required.

Your Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in authoring, developing, and leading a data-centric program.
• Experience in planning and developing business data strategies, data standards, and policies, and defining key reporting capabilities for business metrics and KPIs.
• A strong background in developing data-driven insights to support operational goals.
• Proficiency in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence tools, and techniques.
• Familiarity with Corporate Real Estate data sources such as BMS solutions, IWMS platforms, Space Management solutions, and/or Employee/Tenant mobile platforms.
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with minimal guidance.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience leading high-performing teams.
• 3+ years of experience in requirement gathering identification, definition, and communication.
• 3+ years of experience in consulting and advising business partners using data-driven insights.
• 2+ years of experience managing data program, data strategy development, and data analytics platform implementation.
• A successful record in delivering impactful analytics and insights programs.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and software.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and people skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of relevant industry and legal standards related to real estate data management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science; or master’s degree in business, Analytics or Data Science.
