About Houston


ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What you will do

Primary Job Functions:

  • Operational responsibility to translate business line export needs into an execution plan with freight forwarders and stewarding their performance to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with and influence the freight forwarders and carriers to support operations (demand forecasts, equipment planning, etch), prompt issue resolution, and provide oversight
  • Manage unexpected disruptions, working with quick response team to drive business continuity balancing between cost and speed
  • Design supply strategies for growth and to capture market opportunities collaborating and influencing across manufacturing, logistics & distribution, business lines, and S&OP
  • Analyze data, perform root cause investigations, and frame trade-offs to align stakeholders that drive improvements to KPI’s, customer experience, cost, and network resiliency 

About you

Job Requirements:

  • B.S. degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant supply chain experience
  • Demonstrated analytical, communication skills, and ability to influence without authority across both peers and management
  • Experience in managing logistical constraints, identifying alternatives, and prioritizing requests from diverse stakeholders to deliver maximum value
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with freight forwarders to drive operational results and KPI improvement

 

Functional Skills:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and other suppliers to ensure reliable export of goods
  • Demand Forecasting: Expertise in aligning demand forecasts with supply chain activities to optimize volume allocation
  • Volume Allocation Optimization: Skills to efficiently allocate volumes to meet demand while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency
  • Performance KPI Stewardship: Proficiency in monitoring and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence
  • Operational Execution: Strong skills in executing supply chain operations, including logistics coordination and inventory management
