Senior Project Manager

Reports to: Chief Information Officer

Department: Technology

Location: Must be able to work on-site at our corporate headquarters in Savannah, Ga

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to join our team onsite in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of project management experience, demonstrate strong expertise in Monday.com & Jira, and hold a valid PMP certification. Familiarity with Scrum methodology is a plus. This role will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams. Strong organizational, leadership, communication (written and verbal), stakeholder management are essential to success.  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead end-to-end project management activities for medium to large-scale projects.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans using Monday.com & Jira, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are met.
3. Work closely with Product Owners & Stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
4. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
5. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and executives.
6. Ensure all projects align with organizational goals and comply with project management standards.
7. Lead or contribute to Agile ceremonies where needed (Scrum framework experience preferred).
8. Mentor other members of the IT team on project management best practices. 
9. Ensure Product release capabilities are shared across the organization.

Minimum Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field required

Work Experience: Minimum 8+  years of experience in a Project Management role or related experience required across industries such as IT, construction, operations or product development

Licenses/Certifications: PMP Certification or equivalent a must & familiarity with certification in Scrum/Agile methodologies.
