About the role

Description

The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for people management of our project managers/ PMO Group across the region. The Project Delivery Manager is focused on developing our team to be seen as the thought leaders and domain experts in the HCM industry.  Project Delivery Managers lead by example as they are also engaged in client-focused work in addition to the management of the team. Lastly, the Project Delivery Managers will work with the Rizing HCM Sales team in sales pursuits where deep domain expertise is required, showcasing our capability.

Essential Functions

  • Develops professional skills and manages People of Rizing’s Project Managers / PMO Group.
  • Identifies resources needed and ensures to meet team utilization targets.
  • Hire & Onboard the team.
  • Approves project-related invoices/ credit notes.
  • Responsible for sales support (domain expertise).
  • Assists with Rizing Products & Offerings.
  • Leads larger scale, complex SAP HCM and SuccessFactors software implementation projects for customers as a Senior Project Manager, Program Manager or Delivery Executive. .
  • Serves as the single point of contact for customer projects.
  • Creates and manages the project plan.
  • Manages the resourcing, staffing and budget for customer projects.
  • Manages all aspects of the project by monitoring and identifying any project issues early-on to be able to mitigate any risk for the client, including budget monitoring.
  • Aligns schedules between company and customer.
  • Coordinates with HCM PMO team to set up project tools to support the clients, resources the project team with Rizing consultants, and prepares the client and project teams for project kickoff.

Essential Functions (Continued)

  • Tracks and manages project progress in terms of scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Identifies and documents scope changes for Change Request/Change Order documentation and approval management.
  • Notifies PMO and/or Executive Management of risks/issues when concerns arise.
  • Maintains and manages risks, actions, issues, and decisions log.
  • Tracks and monitors budget and forecast of hours for duration to project completion.
  • Maintains hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are completed and on-time.
  • Escalations management, identifying the root cause, creating action plans and responsible for containment / monitoring of escalations.
  • Experience in assisting sales team around RFP responses and participation in sales engagements representing PMO and/or delivery.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects that vary in scope, and size
  • Facilitation of quality assurance checks
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any business field, or any related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PMBOK, or similar).
  • Strong experience in Professional Services
  • Background in leadership training. 
  • Hands-on experience leading software implementation projects as part of the Project Management team.
  • 10+ years of experience implementing or using SAP SuccessFactors and/or HCM or similar HRIS software (including at least 5 high complex >30.000 employees projects experience)
  • 12 years previous experience in professional services or consulting industry.
  • 12 years previous experience with change management or business transformation projects.
  • 12 years previous experience managing projects involving integrations, data migration, or complex technical landscapes.
  • 12 years previous experience working in several projects at the same time.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, computer science, information systems, business administration or related field strongly preferred
  • PMP, Prince2, Agile, and/or SCRUM Certification
  • SF Modules Certifications in the areas of Employee Central
  • Experience managing projects that includes the following modules/areas: Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, SAP ECC HCM, Workforce Software
  • ERP implementation experience
  • People Management responsibilities on a PMO or software development team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Ability to manage diverse teams across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize requirements for competing resources.
  • Strong project management skills especially RAID mgmt. and governance structures.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate, ASAP, SFSF BizExpert, or similar cloud-related project methodo
