What We Need:
Assists in manufacturing of laminate flooring panels by training to operate various automated industrial machinery components on Cutting and Milling production lines to meet the required quality specifications.
What You’ll Do:

Responsible for quality inspections and testing throughout shift, with attention to identifying quality and manufacturing defects

Gains understanding of correct parameters specific to Department processes in order to minimize defect opportunities and applies knowledge to increase production output

Trains to perform necessary adjustments to production line, including plate changes, via feedback from automated systems monitoring and product specifications

Adheres to Company and Department standards regarding documentation, set up procedures, production procedures, and quality guidelines

Abides by documentation standards and catalogues adherence to production procedures, including shift reports and varying checklists

Understands and follows all Company and Department safety policies, including personal protective equipment and alternate work procedures

Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision

Follow all established standard operating procedures

Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary

Perform other tasks assigned by management
What You Have:
-
High School diploma or equivalent required
-
1+ year experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
-
1+ year familiarity with production mechanical systems preferred
-
1+ year training in quality processes or procedures preferred
What You’re Good At:
-
Proficient computer literacy necessary to naviagate operation of digital equipment and order management systems
-
Ability to troubleshoot independently through use of problem-solving skills and critical thinking
-
Excellent attention to detail
-
Ability to work both independently and within a team setting, including communication with various other Departments via radio, phone, and in-person conversations
What Else?

This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be fluctuating temperatures, and additional department-specific variables. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required, and may include hearing protection, safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, and eye protection.

Other working conditions may include working 12 hour shifts and a fixed shift rotation, including holidays.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; walking, bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs are required.
