The PayPal Micro Business organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced lead Android Developer to join our team of highly skilled and motivated engineers. In this role, you will be integral to the development and enhancement of our core mobile products. You will work closely with product owners and team leaders to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications that meet the needs of our users.

Job Description:

This role has opened up due to the launch of a new product within our peer-to-peer goods and services domain. The new product aims to enhance the functionality and user experience for micro businesses, helping them to better connect, trade, and grow within their communities. The Senior Android Engineer will play a critical role in leading the development efforts and ensuring the successful delivery of this innovative product.

Your day to day-

• Design and Development: Lead the design and development of advanced applications for the Android platform. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 

• Problem Solving: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. 

• User Experience: Work with designers to implement polished, user-friendly interfaces that delight our users. 

• Integration: Integrate with back-end services and third-party APIs. Ensure seamless integration of new features and functionalities. 

• Testing and Deployment: Implement robust unit tests, UI tests, and automation frameworks to ensure high-quality code and continuous delivery. 

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive
