Envision yourself at Barracuda Barracuda Networks is looking for a Senior User Experience Design Manager to lead the Network, Application, and Data Protection product lines. At Barracuda, you will have the opportunity to work with product, engineering, and design leaders to create solutions that protect companies and their employees across the world from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high quality impactful product designs that push the limits of innovation. What you’ll be working on

Managing and creating product design initiatives across Application Security, Network Security, and Data Protection product lines.
You will provide leadership and guidance to co-located and remote designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Oversee and participate as needed in the design process, from concept and strategy, to wireframing, prototyping, user testing and final execution.
You will partner across the Barracuda organization to provide leadership on the role design can play in introducing and shaping ideas, improving existing products, and collaborating on early product development.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and other stakeholders to ensure new products have a vision and strategy that align user needs with business objectives.
Work with other UX leaders to continuously improve our methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
Cultivate an inclusive environment that values differences and creates a sense of belonging and appreciation for team members.

What you bring to the role 

Experience coordinating, directing, and guiding the work of other designers on your team.
7+ years of experience in product design roles.
5+ years of experience in a senior management and leadership role.
Demonstrated excellence in communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in analytics, usability testing, various forms of qualitative and quantitative feedback, and can distill data to formulate insights that drive design decisions.
Familiarity with public cloud platforms, networking, security and SaaS products.
An exceptional understanding of user experience principles and methodologies.
A strong understanding of cyber security products.
Experience with the design-thinking methodology.
Experience leading and mentoring product designers at different stages in their careers.
Advanced knowledge of design tools and technologies, including Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
