Real Chemistry is looking for an Associate Director, Medical Insights to join our growing Integrated Intelligence team!
As an Associate Director in our Integrated Intelligence (I2) practice, you will serve as a strategic lead on high-priority analytics engagements with Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, and Promotional Medical Education clients, overseeing the delivery of integrated analytics that span social listening, real world data, digital/secondary data, and primary market research. You’ll manage multiple concurrent workstreams, lead client relationships, and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
This role combines deep hands-on experience in multi-modal research with leadership and client engagement responsibilities. You should bring a strong background in insights-development, preferably within the Medical Affairs/Communications & HCP education and/or marketing sides of the healthcare industry, as well as a demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights.
This is a hybrid role, based in any of our U.S. offices—New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or fully remote within the U.S., depending on team and business needs.
What You’ll Do:
Lead day-to-day insights strategy, execution, and delivery for pharmaceutical clients across disease, treatment, and healthcare spaces, primarily with Medical Affairs and Promotional Medical Education clients
Integrate insights spanning real world data, social listening, digital behaviors, marketplace trends and dynamics into novel, innovative solutions for internal and external clients
Serve as primary client contact on select analytics projects, guiding communication and project outcomes
Develop measurement frameworks and methodologies that ladder up to client business goals
Oversee the creation of data-driven reports and presentations that offer clear, actionable insights for medical affairs and promotional medical education tactics
Collaborate cross-functionally with account, strategy, and activation teams to ensure insights are fully integrated and activated
Mentor and manage junior team members, delegating tasks effectively and supporting career development
Guide the evolution of reporting templates, benchmarks, and best practices to improve quality and efficiency
Identify opportunities to innovate our medical analytics approaches and expand our offerings, particularly through the use of proprietary and third-party AI and technology

What You Should Have:
5–7+ years of experience in analytics, social listening, or market research, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare/pharmaceutical clients, including Medical-specific client work
Proven ability to lead research initiatives, develop strategic insights, and present findings to senior clients
Knowledge of the nuances of Medic
