The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Mobility Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) has exciting opportunities for Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader - Hardware/Software (HW/SW) Integration (Level M) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, OK to support the B-52J Radar Modernization Program (RMP) segment. We are seeking a leader for the HW/SW Integration Level 1 IPT.
A unique opportunity awaits to help develop and implement the IPT structure for the RMP segment. The IPT leader will be responsible for delivering an integrated product to the respective segment. This will require close coordination with our engineering capability leaders as well as all functions within the organization. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, biased towards action and proactive in problem solving and coordination.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.
- Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
- Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
- 3+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
- 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
- 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 15+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
- 10+ years of experience managing risks, cost performance and schedule performance
- 10+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
- Hardware and Software military certification experience
- Experience with lab and flight test software integration
- Knowledge in overall Aerospace Systems with emphasis Hardware/Software integration.
- Experience with defense related programs.
- Strong business and technical acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
- Inspirational leadership and communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of Enterprise functions supporting the programs.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of customer and Boeing leadership.
