We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Research & Insights to join our Research team within the Marketing team here at Magnite. In this role, you will focus on designing/developing research that supports Magnite’s business objectives and communicate insights in a compelling story from the generated research findings. The ideal candidate for this role is relentlessly curious, proactive, and passionate about insight-based storytelling. This role will report to the Senior Director, Marketing Insights & Innovation.

In this role you will:  

• Partner with the marketing leadership and internal stakeholders to determine Magnite’s research needs.

• Design and manage the execution of custom research projects to drive actionable insights.

• Analyze and interpret research results to generate actionable insights and recommendations for decision making.

• Incorporate Magnite’s research findings and insights from third-party sources into sales enablement and thought leadership materials.

• Serve as the internal spokesperson and subject matter expert for Magnite’s proprietary research; this includes presenting research findings, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and internal stakeholders. 

• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to provide regular industry insights reporting to Magnite commercial teams.

• Partner with the Magnite Business Intelligence team to ensure platform data is accurately represented in external materials.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics or similar is preferred, Master’s degree a plus. 

• 6+ years of experience in marketing research or related fields, preferably in the advertising, media, entertainment, or technology industries.

• Experience managing research studies and forming solid relationships with partners/vendors.

• Excellent analytical skills with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

• Strong knowledge of research methodologies, including survey design, focus groups, segmentation, ethnographies, brand tracking, and attention measurement.

• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate with various levels of a team up through the C-suite.

• Strong storytelling and presenting skills. 

• Understanding of and a genuine interest in advertising, media, and entertainment industries.
