Scrum Master - Data Management

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to join our Data Management team, which encompasses data engineering, architecture, operations, and cloud infrastructure. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative data solutions and the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, healthcare data experience, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies to drive project success and enhance team collaboration. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guides the team and department on how to use scrum practices and values. 
  • Maintains backlogs, dashboards and sprints.
  • Runs sprint standup, backlog grooming and planning meetings. 
  • Works closely with the business owners and projects managers to communicate project status, team capacity and blocking issues. 
  • Responsible for multiple simultaneous development streams.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

  • Agile Certification (preferred SAFE experience)
  • Azure DevOps or similar
  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience working with large teams/organizations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a certified AGILE Scrum Master.
  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a software developer is a strong plus.
  • Requires robust, hands on experience using Azure Devops or other Agile project management tools for Agile and SCRUM project management.
  • Requires excellent communication and coaching skills.
  • Must be adept at task refinement, story splitting, agile estimating, retrospections and other Scrum techniques.
  • Experience with PowerBI is a plus.
