Machine Operators: 3 months operator experience

SUMMARY:

The Blender Operator operates an industrial blender to maintain a consistent quality dough. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares for start-up or shut down of equipment as required. Responsible for inspecting areas of responsibility for possible foreign material issues and promptly notifies Supervisor and QC of any contamination. Responsible for keeping accurate legible records as required including Operator Log’s to include accurate records of blends. Ensure product specifications are met in accordance with customers written specifications. Must be able to monitor the line while the press operator is on break. Must possess the ability to enter data as needed into a computer-based system. Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements. Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.

REQUIREMENTS: Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands. Walking, bending, standing, climbing steps and lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Required to use and read scales, stopwatch, thermometers, PH meter and moisture analyzer. Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator.
