The Opportunity
The Product Manager II is responsible for the execution of digital products that enable Ulteig’s business. Ulteig defines digital transformation as the deliberate use of digital technologies to modify or create business processes, customer experiences, and enabling organizational culture in response to or anticipation of changes in the market, customer insights, and business needs. This role translates business needs and customer insights into actionable products and clear product requirements, serving as the single point of accountability for maximizing long-term business value.
The Product Manager owns the product lifecycle by defining the strategic “why” and “what” in the roadmap, and partnering with delivery teams to translate priorities into successful outcomes. By collaborating across functions, they drive impactful solutions that advance Ulteig’s digital transformation objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes through data-driven decision-making and agile practices. Success in this role is measured by product adoption, business impact, and effective stakeholder collaboration.
What You’ll Do
Product Execution & Delivery
- Identify and Frame Problems: Proactively engage with stakeholders and internal users to uncover, define, and articulate the most pressing business challenges and opportunities. Ensure that product efforts are anchored in a deep understanding of the underlying problems, not just proposed solutions. Use research, data analysis, and direct feedback to validate problem statements before moving to solution design.
- Define Product Vision & Roadmap: Own the 6–12 month product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Ulteig’s strategic objectives and customer needs.
- Translate Vision into Action: Convert product strategy into clear requirements and actionable plans for business services digital products.
- Build the Business Case: Justify new features and initiatives by linking them to measurable business goals (e.g., “reduce manual data entry by 10 hours/week”).
- Validate MVPs and Early Concepts: Define requirements for minimum viable products, prototypes, and pilot solutions, and use stakeholder and user feedback to test concepts before broader investment or rollout.
- Own the Product Backlog: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, including writing clear user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- Lead Daily Execution: Serve as the dedicated “go-to” person for the delivery team, answering questions, clarifying requirements, and making rapid prioritization calls.
- Accept Completed Work: Review and accept completed user stories, ensuring they meet acceptance criteria and deliver intended value.
- Manage Releases: Coordinate with the team and stakeholders to plan and communicate product releases.
- Develop and Maintain Key Artifacts: Maintain product requirement documents, customer journey maps, voice of the customer analysis, product analytics, and business impact dashboards.
Leadership & Development
- Storytelling: Crafting compelling narratives that align diverse teams (business services, engineering, sales, and design) behind a single product vision.
- Relationship Management: Navigating internal politics and diverse team dynamics to build trust and drive alignment across competing interests.
- Leading Through Ambiguity: Support product team morale and focus when strategies change rapidly due to new information or market disruption.

- Support Continuous Improvement: Champion technology adoption and process improvements within assigned product areas.
- Drive Product Adoption: Partner with stakeholders to support adoption of new products, processes, and ways of working through change planning, communication, and adoption activities.
- Monitor Product Performance: Use dashboards to track ROI, adoption, and business impact.
- Define & Track Success: Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics that define success for your product.
- Incorporate Market and Competitive Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and market signals to inform product strategy, prioritization, and decision-making.
