Senior Data Analyst with Snowflake experience

 

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst with Snowflake experience to join our team located Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA.

 

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL, extensive experience in data analysis and forensics, and proficiency in using Snowflake for querying and creating views. This role involves drilling down into complex datasets to uncover insights and support decision-making processes.

 

 

• SQL Expertise: Utilize SQL as the baseline for querying and manipulating data.
• Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within large datasets.
• Data Forensics: Investigate data to uncover discrepancies, fraud, or other irregularities.
• Snowflake Proficiency: Use Snowflake for data warehousing, querying, and creating views to organize and present data effectively.
• View Creation: Develop and maintain views in Snowflake to simplify complex queries and enhance data accessibility.
• Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SQL and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to drill down into complex datasets.
• Experience with Snowflake and creating views.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to present findings clearly and concisely.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974  to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
