PMO – Project Support

Your mission

We are supporting one of our clients in the financial sector with a strategic initiative focused on IT security architecture and regulatory compliance. The goal is to align the IT security setup with current risk and compliance standards.

As a PMO Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the project manager in both organizational and operational tasks related to the "Information Security Risk Management" program. You'll be the backbone of project coordination, ensuring timelines, communications, and governance are aligned and running smoothly.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the project lead with administrative and strategic project tasks

• Creating and updating project schedules, budgets, and resource plans

• Monitoring project tasks and ensuring deliverables stay on track

• Managing and maintaining issue and action item logs

• Preparing stakeholder-ready reports and presentations

• Organizing, documenting, and following up on meetings and steering committees

• Coordinating between internal and external stakeholders

Your profile

• University degree in economics, mathematics, IT, business informatics, or comparable experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Application development

  • IT operations

  • IT governance

• Proven experience in a PMO or project support role

• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with a proactive and reliable working style

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

• Very good command of German (written and spoken) and good command of English

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Confident use of Microsoft Project

Nice to have:

• Certification in project management methodology (e.g. IPMA, PRINCE2, PMI)

• Experience in agile project environments (e.g. Scrum)
