Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive DevOps and platform practices supporting MPS applications

  • Design and operate CI/CD pipelines with automation, quality gates, and embedded security

  • Build and maintain shared DevOps platforms, reusable pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code to enable development teams

  • Architect and build systems and delivery pipelines that meet PCI and HIPAA compliance requirements

  • Define and promote best practices for application monitoring, alerting, and performance instrumentation

  • Influence development teams to take ownership of performance, capacity planning, and operational readiness

  • Partner with engineering, security, and risk teams to translate compliance requirements into scalable technical patterns

  • Support incident response, post‑incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong expertise in DevOps and platform engineering, supporting large‑scale, transaction‑based applications

  • Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines with automation, quality gates, and embedded security

  • Hands‑on experience building shared DevOps platforms, reusable pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and modern platform tooling

  • Experience architecting and operating systems in regulated environments (PCI required; HIPAA preferred)

  • Solid understanding of application monitoring, alerting, performance instrumentation, and operational readiness

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and enable development teams through standards, tooling, and best practices

  • Strong partnership and communication skills, with experience translating security, risk, and compliance requirements into scalable technical solutions

Location expectations 
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
