Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Drive DevOps and platform practices supporting MPS applications
Design and operate CI/CD pipelines with automation, quality gates, and embedded security
Build and maintain shared DevOps platforms, reusable pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code to enable development teams
Architect and build systems and delivery pipelines that meet PCI and HIPAA compliance requirements
Define and promote best practices for application monitoring, alerting, and performance instrumentation
Influence development teams to take ownership of performance, capacity planning, and operational readiness
Partner with engineering, security, and risk teams to translate compliance requirements into scalable technical patterns
Support incident response, post‑incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Strong expertise in DevOps and platform engineering, supporting large‑scale, transaction‑based applications
Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines with automation, quality gates, and embedded security
Hands‑on experience building shared DevOps platforms, reusable pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and modern platform tooling
Experience architecting and operating systems in regulated environments (PCI required; HIPAA preferred)
Solid understanding of application monitoring, alerting, performance instrumentation, and operational readiness
Demonstrated ability to influence and enable development teams through standards, tooling, and best practices
Strong partnership and communication skills, with experience translating security, risk, and compliance requirements into scalable technical solutions
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
