Summary

Administrative Coordinator | Renewable Generation 

As an Administrative Coordinator for Renewable Generation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational efficiency of the department. Under minimal supervision and often without established procedures, you will handle a wide range of specialized and complex administrative tasks. Your role involves frequent communication both within and outside the organization, where tact, persuasion, and negotiation skills will be essential in dealing with sensitive and high-priority matters.
This role requires independent project management, research, and coordination, allowing you to make a direct impact on departmental goals. Occasional travel to other Generation sites may be necessary based on business needs.

 


Key Skills/Tasks:
Administrative Support:
Provide a broad range of specialized and complex administrative support to assist in achieving departmental objectives.
Project Management: Independently manage and coordinate projects that involve research, data gathering, and process improvement.
Communication: Frequently interact with both internal and external customers requiring high levels of professionalism, attention to detail, and active listening skills.
Problem-Solving: Address complex problems and situations, applying both general and job-specific knowledge to ensure practical solutions.
Technology Proficiency: Leverage advanced knowledge of computer software applications, email systems, and department-specific administrative tools to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Onsite Support: May need to travel to various Generation Power Plants or Sites to provide on-site assistance when required.

 


The ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Experience providing administrative support in dynamic and complex environments, where independent decision-making and problem-solving were essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects that required independent research, coordination, and collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, handle sensitive matters diplomatically, and present information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced experience with technology tools such as Microsoft Office, email platforms, and department-specific software to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • A proactive approach, where minimal supervision was needed to complete specialized or complex tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Atleast 18years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED          

          -PLUS-

  • Three (3) years of clerical or related experience.

Major Accountabilities

  1. Coordinates, administers or implements specialized company programs/services/projects or processes to support the functions of the department, which may involve multiple processes, various internal and external contacts, document preparation and organizing the activity of others to achieve certain objectives, including meeting and/or travel arrangements.
  2. Ensures information needed for such events are complete and accurate.
  3. Utilizes appropriate computer software to independently create and maintain routine to advanced generated documents, schedules, spreadsheets, flowcharts, graphs, timelines, tables or reports.
  4. Tracks and prepares department reports and presentations, ensuring prompt and accurate processing
