Position Overview:

The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) is seeking a strategic leader to join our Division of Medical Programs as the Financial Monitoring Manager within the Bureau of Program and Policy Coordination.

 

This is your opportunity to shape the financial backbone of Illinois Medicaid programs. In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Financial Monitoring Program – Plan, develop, and implement policies and long-range strategies that ensure compliance with federal and state financial reporting requirements.
  • Supervise and Inspire – Manage a talented team, set goals, provide guidance, and foster professional growth.
  • Design Administrative Claiming Opportunities – Create and oversee systems that maximize federal reimbursement for Medicaid administrative claiming programs.
  • Ensure Accurate Reporting – Direct complex financial systems and reporting processes to guarantee compliance and optimize federal claiming across multiple programs.
