Parts Shipper - 1st Shift

Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $18.85 per hour

The Parts Shipper packs and prepares product for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products, Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in ERP system. Supports goals and continued improvement of PDC. Prepare appropriate documentation for shipments. Ownership of basic 5S and housekeeping for area. 

Basic Qualifications:* High School diploma or equivalent* 0-2 years of experience or equivalent.* Detail oriented and organizedAdditional Qualifications:* Ability to effectively communicate* Contributes to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures.* Ability to understand and execute basic standard procedures* Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.* Ability to perform basic assembly skills.* Ability to effectively work in a team environment.* Models positive and professional work ethics.* Ability to use basic hand tools* Ability to interpret basic visual diagrams* Climb ladder* Able to learn ERP on scan gun and operate proficiently * Ability to learn, operate, and obtain license for the use of a work-assist vehicle* Process orders quickly and efficiently to meet customer demands* Basic computer knowledge

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
