Job Purpose and Impact

The Scheduling Sub-Process Implementation Lead will be accountable for the design and rollout of an implementation and the connected processes within Cargill's Beef business, specifically focusing on Supply Chain Planning & Production Scheduling. In this role, you will lead business readiness activities to ensure processes, data and information are established and streamlined for a successful implementation. You will be critical to drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems and collaborate effectively with several levels within the designated process area, segment, organization and enterprise and supporting functions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the implementation of system and process deployments to enable business capabilities within a process area or assigned segment.
  • Gather and document business requirements, validate system configurations and ensure processes meet the business needs.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure the design, build and delivery of all in scope business processes to enable business capabilities.
  • Support the execution of the change plan and promote process change in the organization with collaboration from the change, communication and education team.
  • Provide regular progress measures to identify variances from the plan and take corrective actions as needed for timely implementation.
  • Assist with project or process leads to help define deployment objectives and scope utilizing knowledge of project management practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the process implementation lead to deliver desired business results across a single process area or segment.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Create and facilitate training to support end user planning and scheduling daily activities.
  • Support the execution of post go-live events to ensure process stability.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on and/or leading high impact projects and change management initiatives
  • Supply Chain Planning and Production Scheduling experience
  • Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP
  • Experience using advanced planning and scheduling software such as SAP IBP, PP/DS, PSO, Logility or similar
  • Cattle or meat packing industry experience
  • Experience with process mapping, content creation (PPT, Visio or similar)
  • Strong ability and appetite to learn and apply new concepts
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter who executes tasks with minimal direction
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and can adapt to various situations, prioritizing multiple work assignments simultaneously
